Will Rogers Highway, also known as Route 66, will have its 100th year Anniversary in 2026. We have heard from the Rogers family and others. We have been invited to visit venues on route 66. Thank you to those who are calling and want to be part of the celebrations in California and other states. We will list events and look forward to participation by AACA SOCAL AND FRIENDS. Route 66 was anointed on November 11, 1926, but it would take until 1938 before the entire route was paved with concrete. It quickly became one of the nation’s principal east-west routes, not only connecting small rural towns to each other but also connecting Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles via the nation’s first all-weather road.

March 18 (Wed) Vintage Rides Cruise-In at the Boat - 5pm until dark. Raffle at 7pm. Members of the AACA SoCal and groups from many clubs all over bring their cool cars to Clearman’s Galley, 7215 Rosemead Blvd., San Gabriel. This free show is a great family event. If it’s old and you love it, bring it out and show it off! Be comfortable, bring your folding chairs and canopies. Hosted by the Undertakers Car Club. March 31 Tuesday (new date) AACA SOCAL AND FRIENDS -- BIG BAND ALUMNI… LIVE MUSIC AND DANCING. Band members performed with Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Lady Gaga and many others. You will have a great time listening and or dancing to the band and vocalists at their rehearsals. See how the seniors with their dance shoes are staying young. Food is available for purchase. Free parking for your daily drivers or collector cars. Entrance $15 per person. You are each given a $5 voucher to use toward the purchase of either food or drinks.
